City Of Brownsville To Build Public Safety Complex

The City of Brownsville is planning to move the headquarters of its first responders into one space. The City announced Thursday that it is building a state-of-the-art Public Safety Complex.

The complex will house police, fire, and ambulance officials along with the Emergency Operations Center and the Information Technology and Cybersecurity offices.

Mayor John Cowen Junior said the complex will “position Brownsville as a regional leader in public safety and emergency response.”
