The City of Abilene says it no longer will put fluoride in the water. The city says a recent federal court ruling in California has the potential to bring changes to the EPA’s recommendations regarding fluoride levels in drinking water.

The city was maintaining fluoride levels at point-seven parts per million, which is an amount recommended by the American Dental Association. The city council will take up the issue at a meeting on Thursday.
