Cameron County residents looking to get rid of their live Christmas trees can begin dropping them off for recycling.
The City of Brownsville has drop-off locations at Gonzalez Park and Oliviera Park that will be open until January 15th. Sea Turtle, Incorporated is also accepting trees at their headquarters in South Padre Island through January 4th. All decorations should be removed from the trees before they are dropped off for recycling.
