A woman is facing charges after a deadly New Year’s Eve crash in Palmview. Investigators say the crash happened just before 9 p.m. on Abram Road south of FM Loop 374. Five-year-old Antonio Ray Solis of Mission was reportedly walking across the road when he was hit by a vehicle. He was taken to McAllen Medical Center, where he died on Saturday.
Twenty-five-year-old Lizbeth De La Cruz Gonzalez was arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance after the crash, which is still under investigation.
