Two members of the Edinburg school district Board of Trustees will not be disciplined following a meeting earlier this week. Trustees heard censure motions against Luis Alamia and Dominga Vela during their meeting on Tuesday.
Alamia was accused of failing to follow proper procedure in giving a school board candidate field passes for a football game. Vela also was accused of breaking the rules by making a last-minute request to do the coin toss before a recent football game. The measures failed when each motion received three votes in favor and three votes against.
