By Police in Galveston and Jamaica Beach are warning residents and visitors to keep an eye out after packages of cocaine washed up on the beach.
Officers found bundles of suspected narcotics along the West End beach on Easter Sunday. Officials say the drugs may have been tossed overboard during an offshore raid on a ship in an attempt to evade capture.
The public is encouraged to call the Jamaica Beach Police Department if they find anything unusual.
