By Health officials are reporting a “presumptive” positive test for bird flu in Harris County.
The Department of State Health Services in Austin tested a snow goose in southeast Harris County and came up with the result on Tuesday. No human cases of the virus are reported in Harris County.
Galveston County officials confirmed a case of bird flu in Texas City on Tuesday morning. A bird behaving erratically was found to be infected, and later died.
