By The Austin Police Department is under its new leadership today. Chief of Police Lisa Davis began her new assignment this week. Davis recently spoke at a Public Safety Commission meeting where she addressed many of the issues facing the city and her department. She previously served on the police force in Cincinnati, Ohio.
