A worker in the Texas A&M athletic department has been fired for gambling on games. The unnamed employee made 172 wagers, averaging about two-bucks each.

The school was notified about the allegations from the Southeast Conference, which was tipped off by their monitoring program. It tracks the names of all athletes and staffers, to make sure they’re not betting. Because the worker was fired, the conference will not impose any penalties.
