A U.S. Customs and Border Protection aerostat from South Texas has been found nearly 500 miles from home.

High winds caused the aerostat to break loose from its tether at the South Padre Island Coast Guard station on Monday. It was found Tuesday in Hunt County, about 30 miles east of Dallas. Authorities have not said if the aerostat will be replaced.
