Animal Care Services says dozens of San Antonio animal owners need to be reminded to bring their pets in out of the cold.

The ACS reported on Tuesday that it had received more than 330 weather-related calls since the first of December. In that time, ACS has issued 71 criminal citations to pet owners for violating the city’s ban on cold-weather pet neglect.

The agency said 47 of those citations were issued over the past two days, as winter weather set in over the city.
