Matthew McConaughey and some of his Hollywood pals are pressing Texas lawmakers to pass an incentive fund that would draw more productions. He says it would have a good return on investment, thanks to all the jobs that would be created.
The Austin resident was joined by fellow Texas actor Dennis Quaid at a legislative hearing. The Right Stuff star says there are incentive funds for industries like oil drilling and computer technology. So, why not the film industry, he says.
