McAllen will begin paying its last respects to Assistant City Manager Joe Vera today. A public viewing will be held today at the McAllen Performing Arts Center beginning at 4 p.m.
A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 1 p.m. tomorrow. He will be buried at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr following the service. Vera was 69-years-old when he died last week.
