Gun rights groups have flooded the Texas State Capitol today, rallying in support of the Second Amendment. One bill, which would permanently ban so-called red flag laws, has the backing of Kyle Rittenhouse. He told lawmakers that it’s unconstitutional.
Red Flag laws allow family members or police to go to a judge and ask for the removal of someone’s weapons. It’s seen as a way to prevent an attack by someone suffering from a mental health crisis.
