Two South Texas cities have approved rate increases at their international ports of entry. The City of McAllen approved a 50-cent toll increase on Monday.
Beginning Saturday, vehicles crossing back into Mexico will be charged four dollars. The City of Pharr has also approved an increase affecting those who tow vehicles from the U.S. into Mexico.
City commissioners voted this week to charge 50 dollars for those vehicles. The 45-dollar increase goes into effect on March 11th.
