Gun control groups, including the families of the Uvalde school shooting victims, are rallying at the state capitol. They want lawmakers to raise the age needed to buy an assault rifle. It’s currently at 18-years old. They want it raised to 21.
State Senator Roland Gutierrez, whose district includes Uvalde, is also pushing for emergency risk protection orders. He says that’s supported by President Trump.
