(McAllen, TX) — A McAllen man is facing federal arson charges. Investigators accuse 36-year-old Daniel Eduardo Rivera of targeting a man by setting multiple fires at a residence in 2022. A vehicle owned by the victim was also set on fire in May of last year. Investigators say surveillance footage tied Rivera to that fire. He appeared in court yesterday and will remain in custody until his detention hearing.
