By A former Edinburg city attorney has announced plans to run for mayor. Omar Ochoa posted a video announcing his plans on social media earlier this month.
Ochoa served as city attorney for about five years, but stepped down last year to focus on his private law practice. Ochoa is the son of former Edinburg Mayor Joe Ochoa.
