A suspect in Cameron, Texas, is in trouble after his landlord complained to officials that the tenant had venomous snakes in his apartment.
Milam County deputies and Texas Game Wardens investigated and found a cobra, a green bush viper, and about two dozen rattlesnakes inside the apartment. They also found non-venomous snakes, along with meth and drug paraphernalia.
They arrested the tenant for drug possession and not having a snake permit. The snakes are now in the custody of a licensed permit holder.
