A man is facing multiple charges after a weekend crash in Edinburg. Police began chasing 20-year-old Marcos Diego Dominguez on Saturday after he allegedly ran a red light at the intersection of Sugar and Trenton roads.
Officers said Dominguez turned off his lights and kept driving until he tried to run another red light and crashed into a pickup.
An elderly couple was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries following the crash. Dominguez has been charged with DWI, evading arrest and reckless driving.
