By An elderly Brownsville man has died after running over an explosive device in Mexico. Family members say Antonio Cespedes Saldierna was driving on a farm in Tamaulipas last Friday when his vehicle ran over an IED. Another man died in the explosion, while a woman in the vehicle was injured.
Mexican investigators say a criminal organization may have planted the device to keep rivals away from their territory. Saldierna was 74-years-old at the time of his death.
