U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says it’s a new era at the southern border. Hegseth and White House border czar Tom Homan visited El Paso on Monday to meet with troops guarding the border.
Hegseth told reporters President Trump has charged the military with gaining 100-percent control of the southern border. He added any assets necessary are on the table to support the detention and expulsion of people who are in the country illegally.
