Police in Edinburg are giving more information about a deadly officer-involved shooting. Police Chief Jaime Ayala spoke about the death of 58-year-old Felipe Zuniga Thursday.
Zuniga died after he was shot by an officer during a barricade situation on Tuesday night. Police discovered that the weapon Zuniga pointed at officers was a BB gun designed to look like a real rifle.
The officers involved are on leave while the police department and the Texas Rangers investigate.
