The city clerk’s office says the personal information of ten candidates in San Antonio’s May 3rd election was accidentally uploaded online.

The mishap took place on the first day of election filing last week, and involved information such as home addresses, driver’s licenses, voter registration info, and partial credit card numbers. Five of the ten candidates were applying to run for mayor.

The information was online for about five hours before staff took it down. The city clerk’s office says they’re taking steps to keep it from happening again.
