Investigators are trying to determine the source of carbon monoxide that sent a teenager and a toddler to the hospital on Tuesday. The Houston Fire Department responded around 3 p.m. to a home on Walk Drive in north Houston.

Firefighters didn’t detect carbon monoxide in the house, but the kids said they felt nauseous and were hospitalized. Blood tests confirmed the presence of increased levels of carbon monoxide in their systems. So far the source is unknown.
