By The La Joya school district will consolidate its four early college high schools. The school board voted Wednesday to merge the schools at the start of the 2025-26 school year.
The consolidation will lower the number of study pathways available to students in the early college program. The district said the consolidation should improve student outcomes and increase the number of associate degrees awarded.
