A suspect accused of assaulting a woman inside her apartment has been arrested in Edinburg. Police officers were called to the 25-hundred block of Fatima Avenue on Saturday evening after the assault was reported.
The suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a knife before locking himself inside her bedroom. Thirty-six-year-old Johnny Pedro Capetillo surrendered after a standoff with police. He was arraigned on an aggravated assault charge yesterday and was given a 50-thousand-dollar bond.
