Governor Abbott is again thanking state troopers and National Guard members at his annual South Texas Thanksgiving event.
Abbott came to Edinburg’s South Texas International Airport yesterday to help serve meals and speak with those who work at the border as part of Operation Lone Star. The governor began the event in 2021. He was joined by Tom Homan, who will serve as border czar during the next Trump Administration.
Abbott and Homan were in Eagle Pass earlier in the day, and the border czar confirmed that there will be mass deportations of illegal immigrants once Trump is in office.
