Egg Prices Spike

It looks like eggs will be even more expensive this holiday season. Increased demand combined with shortages from the avian flu have driven up costs 30 percent over last year, according to the consumer price index. The virus has killed 75-million egg-laying birds since 2022, about eight percent of the national supply.
