A McAllen man remains in federal custody after being caught in the process of downloading child pornography.
FBI agents executed a search warrant at a home near Dove and 24th last Thursday and arrested 36-year-old Jose Julian Garcia Garza. It’s not clear what led investigators to Garcia but a criminal complaint obtained by the McAllen Monitor states as agents entered the home, Garcia’s computer was actively downloading child pornographic material from a peer-to-peer file sharing program.
Garcia was arrested on charges of knowingly receiving and distributing child pornography online.
