The DPS continues to look into the factors that caused a fiery 2-vehicle wreck that claimed the life of one of the drivers south of Harlingen Tuesday morning.

Troopers say a Kia Sedona was speeding south on South Ed Carey Drive when it collided with a northbound dump truck north of Murrow Road. The Kia exploded in flames and its driver, 23-year-old Ian Jeremy Rivera of Harlingen, was killed instantly. The driver of the Mack truck declined to go to the hospital.
