Boca Chica Beach, State Highway 4 To Close For SpaceX Launch

Boca Chica Beach is set to close this weekend ahead of the SpaceX launch next Monday. Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino has ordered the beach and State Highway Four to close starting on Sunday.

County officials say there will be two temporary checkpoints on the highway for residents that live nearby. The launch Monday is scheduled for four p.m.
