President-elect Trump is nominating Florida Senator Marco Rubio for Secretary of State. In a statement, Trump said Rubio is a highly respected leader and a powerful voice for freedom. He added he will be a strong advocate for the nation and will never back down to America’s adversaries. This comes as Trump is nominating Fox News host and military veteran Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.
