Lawmakers Propose Daylight Savings Time Bill

A bill filed in the state legislature would allow voters to decide if they want to change the clocks twice a year, and sleep experts are loving it.

Dr. Vincent Mysliwiec with U-T Health San Antonio says that, when we spring forward, we lose an hour of sleep. And that messes up our body rhythms.

The result is a change in mood and, in some cases, studies have shown there is a higher risk of heart attack and stroke.
