An international clothing retailer has chosen McAllen as the location for opening its first-ever store in Texas. Primark has been renovating the former Joe Brand store at La Plaza Mall and plans to open December 12th.
The La Plaza store is to be the first of several Primark intends to open next year at malls in Houston, El Paso, and suburban Fort Worth. A company news release didn’t say how many people it’ll employ at its McAllen store but that it is now taking applications for full and part-time jobs. Primark currently operates 29 stores in 12 states mostly in the east and northeast.
