Thousands Vote In Hidalgo, Cameron Counties On First Day Of Early Voting

Thousands of Rio Grande Valley residents headed to the polls Monday on the first day of early voting in Texas.

Election officials in Hidalgo County say over 21-thousand people voted Monday. Just over 11-thousand voters turned in their ballots in Cameron County yesterday.

Early voting will continue through November 1st, with Election Day set for November 5th.
