A large share of the surveillance cameras on the Texas border with Mexico are reportedly not working. That’s according to a memo from the Border Patrol. It says that nearly one-third of the cameras are off-line due to a lack of maintenance.
There is no schedule for the cameras to be updated, but the Border Patrol says they will deploy an additional 15 surveillance towers to the southern border in the coming months.
