Social media site X is introducing new terms of service. The Austin-American Statesman reports that among other provisions, the new terms require any lawsuits against the company be filed in Texas courts.
These courts are the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, or Tarrant County state courts. This is notable as X’s headquarters, in Bastrop, is in a different court district. The new terms also include a provision allowing third parties to access the data of X users and use it to train artificial intelligence models.
