North Texas residents enjoyed a spectacular display of the Northern Lights last night, thanks to what forecasters said was a severe geomagnetic storm.
Sky watchers will be able to catch another glimpse of the Northern Lights tonight as well as spotty internet, cell and radio service. which results from the storm. Weather forecasters say the storm has reached a G-4 level — which is the second highest level of severity on the scale.
