A road project is forcing some commercial trucks to take a detour in Brownsville. A project to upgrade pavement on International Boulevard has led to some congestion due to lane closures.
Tx-DOT is warning truckers that police will be enforcing a detour beginning Monday. Trucks weighing over 80-thousand pounds will have to avoid the area by taking I-69E and FM-511.
