North TX Humane Society Helps Rescue Animals from Hurricane Helene

Just as Florida is only now assessing damage caused by Hurricane Milton, residents in the Southeast are still reeling from the impact of Hurricane Helene in late September. The North Texas Humane Society is helping shelter animals left homeless in Georgia by Helene.

The Humane Society of Valdosta has been able to take in more animals as shelters such as the North Texas agency has taken in animals. An adoption event is planned for October 18th at the Five Star Subaru in Grapevine.
