Man Who Hit, Killed Teen While Driving Stolen Car Sentenced To 80 Years

The man who hit and killed a Round Rock teen while driving a stolen car is going to prison. Officials announced Friday that Leandro Brito-Martinez has been sentenced to 80 years for the 2022 death.

Brito-Martinez was fleeing police when he ran a red light and struck another car, before hitting Tobias Soto while he was walking in the intersection. Brito-Martinez fled the scene but was quickly arrested.
