A Valley woman was killed in a violent one-vehicle crash in San Benito this weekend. Police say the woman was heading east on the Expressway 77 frontage road early Saturday morning, when she sped through a red light at Sherer Road. The car flew out of control, went airborne, came crashing down on the side of a canal, and burst into flames. The woman was found bleeding heavily from the head and almost completely burned. The name and hometown of the 29-year-old woman are not yet being released.
